Delete your Gusi Portfolio Tracker account

In the app, in under a minute

This is the fastest route and it needs nobody's help. Open Gusi Portfolio, go to Account, then Delete my account. The app shows you exactly what will be removed and asks you to confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot open the app

You do not need the app, and you do not need to reinstall it. Email support@gusistudios.com from the address you signed up with, asking for your account to be deleted. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days, and in practice much sooner.

Write from the address on the account if you can. If you cannot, say so and we will find another way to establish that the account is yours before deleting anything, because deleting on the word of a stranger would be its own kind of failure.

What is deleted

• Your account and your email address.
• Your positions, your recorded sales and your realised gains.
• Your watchlist, including your notes on it.
• Your zones, your trend lines and the alerts they raised.
• Any brokerage connection you made, at our brokerage data provider as well as here.
• Your settings, including your currency, strategy and appearance choices.
• Your membership of any household, and anything of yours the others could see.

What happens to a household you shared with

Your data leaves with you. Positions you shared stop being visible to the people you shared them with, because they were always yours rather than the household's. The household itself carries on for whoever is still in it, with their own data untouched. If you are the last person in it, it goes when you do.

If you want to leave a household without deleting your account, leave it in the app instead. Your positions, watchlist and notes travel with you.

A subscription is not cancelled by deleting the account

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, that subscription belongs to your store account and keeps billing until you cancel it there. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first, then delete the account. Deleting the account removes your entitlement to the paid features and does not refund or stop a store subscription.

What is kept, and for how long

Deleted data is removed from live systems immediately and falls out of routine backups as those are rotated. We may keep a minimal record of the deletion itself where we are required to, for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
